My baby girl lost her first tooth on the second day of our holiday. Just as we arrived at Universal Studios. That nite we found out how prepared our little Zoe is as she had packed in her suitcase her tooth fairy box...LOL

Thankyou so much for the photography class. I hope that there's another one on the way.

I was one of 16 whom were lucky enough to get into the course that was run at Tomorrow's Memories by Sharon Manning Photography, teaching you how to use your camera off auto! Yep off auto.

Best course ever and I've only gone back to auto for my daughters school carnival otherwise always on manual and loving it!

Thanks again Sharon. I learn't so much from word go!

Proudest Mum Ever!!!

Just had to share one of my proudest moments of being a Mum was watching my gorgeous little Zo Bo at the State Championships for Gymnastics.

Its hard to believe that she started Gym only 3 months prior.

I always knew it was something she should be doing and Zoe loves it too.

Doesn't like not getting a medal though! But she will learn. She won gold in my eyes though.
Isn't she just gorgeous!!

Last week my gorgeous cousin turned 18. Wow! she was our flower girl at our wedding...still can't believe how quickly the time goes. Anyway being the scrapbooker of the family I was asked to make her a special (yes mum!!) card. Thankfully everyone including Kelly loved it!

Okay if you have the morning free then you need to get on your bike or in the car and get on down to Tomorrows Memories for the Biggest Morning Tea.

Yep thats right the gorgeous ladies at Tomorrows Memories are helping to raise money for the Cancer Council by hosting the Biggest Morning Tea on Saturday 22 May at 11am, Cost $10 all monies raised goes directly to the Cancer Council.

Now I'm sure you've all been touched in some way when it comes to this horrible disease so why not join in with these gorgeous ladies and there staff to help raise some funds.

Okay I'm hearing ya, its till around 12.30 and yes there's morning tea along with a fantastic Auction of some pretty cool goodies I hear.

So lets not forget to give the shop a ring and book yourselves in or come on down on the day and pay then or before to make sure you get a spot! I know you'll all have a ball!

I don't have many baby photos of Zoe these are two of the best. I think we were just a little excited with Olicia and the way she took to her that we forgot to stop and enjoy her as a newborn.

I have exciting news. I was asked, Tuesday to be exact, to join the Dusty Attic Design Team! Yep can you believe it. Of course I said yes. I'm very excited as life got a little stressed for me and my family for a while as I'm sure you guys realised from me not posting but things are looking up and have been really great the last couple of weeks and back to loving all and everything scrapbooking. Experiencing Sand

Again, I know hard to believe but I was given a challenge from the lovely Vicki..my boss and I accepted it.

I loved doing this layout as I've had these photos of Zoe and her first experience playing with sand well since she was about 7 months and Zoe is now 6yrs. The new Sassafras line "Nerdy Bird" is so cute and I'm loving the colours, which went perfect with these photos. Tomorrow's Memories also has the Apple Jack line in too, which is just as cute. But you might want to be quick as I'm sure they'll run out the door!!!

And yes she did eat the sand! Son xx

Happy Birthday Zoe

My gorgeous girl turned 6 1 week before Xmas. She had a great day with her friends. We had a tea party followed with some summer fun on our water slide. The girls loved it so much we struggled to get them off it to go home.
After all was over my poor little gidget got sick for the rest of the week even xmas day. Zoe's a trooper though as she perked up for Xmas Day!

Camp Rock!

As you know it was my girls Dance teachers 15 years of business and to help congratulate the last 15 years all families were asked to do a page (yes she's a scrapbooker) to be put into an album for her.

Several of the mums I knew decided to delagate myself to do it which I was happy to do in the time I don't have available but I managed. It was due the week before the dance concert. I also had to do one for Zoe as she is not in her sisters class.

I had fun using the new prima papers that Tomorrows Memories had, that walked off the shelf as soon as they got them. Nothing new there as they are gorgeous papers! I think if you're lucky and head on down to TM's you could snap up one of these latest stitched prima papers and of course all the other lovely embellishments to go with and lets not forget some of those gorgeous new xmas lines that have been arriving by the truck loads. Hi sorry I've had visitors and been sick all at the same time. But the best news of all is that I will be really busy for the next 6 months because my daughters school have been successful with there application to Lotterywest for a grant to celebrate the schools 40th. The P&C are trying to organise a Community Fair, Yes I'm on the P&C! So my next 6 months will be extremely busy with the Fair and I still have to work and all the other stuff that comes with being me. So I'm apologising in advance and belated apologies for the past several monhts too as I will try my best to keep blogging.

Anyway other good news is that I'm also on the Twiddleybitz DT again. So excited!!

Is this not the cutest shower cap you've ever seen.

I had to make the decision to put up with my two girls fighting over one shower cap every night or just go out and buy another one. Yep its easier to just go buy another one.

I came across these gorgeous shower caps all different in colour and pattern. So I bought them one each.

Zoe loved hers so much that after the bath she still had it on. She came out in her pj's and curled up into a little ball in the middle of the lounge room and yelled out. "I'm a mushroom"!

Greg and I couldn't stop laughing. This kid comes out with the most amusing things sometimes.

Went to the Craft Fair on Sunday to see how Twiddleybtiz store was doing. Its definately an eye opener as I've always been the public looking and instead I was there to help as much as I could anyway. I did my bit and got the girls some lunch, watched the store and occasionally darted over to where Sherry was doing a class.

I'm pretty sure they did great over the weekend. Anyway this is my Heritage layout for you to feast your eyes over using again some of the newest products.

Anyway I've started with one of the cards I made using the new Twiddleybitz Ferns, Dragonfly and Hearts along with some Twiddleybitz Bronze Colour-spray.

She's about 3yrs old here. I can't believe I didn't know I had this shot. I'm just loving it. She had just came out of the bath and at that age she loved running around naked. Now she's nearly 6 and yes still does it.

Hi everyone had a terrific time in Bali but as much as its was fun and a great rest I don't think its a place I'd be going back to anytime soon. However we do plan to take the kids back in a few years.

Just a quick few cards before I set off to Bali with my Hubby for our 10th Anniversary celebration. Getting excited now as we aren't taking the kids. First holiday without them (if you don't count SIA). Still not sure if I should feel guilty or not for not bringing them, time will tell. We both really need a good break and a sleep in...yay!!

Sorry I haven't been around have had a lot of school stuff to do and first week back my little Gidget was sick and somehow got the dreaded nits even though she hadn't been at school yet. But alls good we got rid of her friends and she's also much better and back at school.

May Zoe turned 5 a week before christmas. For a year she nagged me for a nintendo ds. Funny story I bought it on ebay 4 months before her birthday thinking - yeh plenty of time. Well panic set in at 4 weeks as I was told thats all it would take. Then 6 weeks getting very anxious. Just over 3 months and phew it arrived. I had everyone one my side - panicing with that is. Little advise don't buy from Canada it can take, now I've been told, 3 months to a year for things to arrive!!

Thanks to the man upstairs he was definately on my side.

Anyway you can tell just how happy my little Gidget was upon opening her presents on the day.

I thought I'd share this gorgeous tag that a very special friend made for me and attached it to a mini tote for my Birthday. Thankyou so much Beck I finally filled it a couple of weeks ago and have been using it for when I have classes.

The colours are perfect, Beck knows me a little to well. It arrived exactly the morning of my birthday you have perfect timing. It truly was a great birthday surprise.

School Holidays Fly By

Sorry for not posting I just can't believe where the school holidays have gone. Kids go back to school next week and I still haven't really done anything with them. I definately win bad mother award this time round.

My Hubby turned 33 on Easter Sunday. Not much of a birthday as being Easter, really a day of fun for the kids. However, so he didn't feel forgotten we had family over for dinner with cake and candles, again for the kids.

I got out of his birthday cheap though, the only one time I can buy him an Easter egg and get away with it. I was feeling pretty bad though until Monday when he went and bought an electric saw, so HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY!

Anyway last year I decided to start to scrap some of our wedding. There's only so much journalling you can repeat for these photos so I've started to just be simple with some so that I get the album done before its our 20th anniversary.

I had a baby theme going at the time. I found alot of baby photos of my eldest, Olicia, which was just before we had bought a digital camera. So I have all these 6x4 baby snaps of her I discovered packed away. So I took the opportunity to scrap her!

Thought I'd keep the baby theme going. Best to stick to something thats working at the time!!

Well we're back from SIA and gotta say had a blast with Tracey and Evana. Most of you might know by now that Tracey won Designer of the Year for the individual cardmaking. It definately made the SIA experience more exciting and rewarding for myself.

I realised during our breakfast with Carol Wingert - USA designer and thanks to a question asked by Evana to Carol, that Tracey would definately have to be my Hero in scrapbooking, the person who inspires me the most and also puts up with my annoying questions ie. do you like this, is this okay, should I put that there, I can't do that! yep I can be a bit of a pain but hey she's still right there by my side after nearly 3 years of that nagging. I'm sure I'm not the only one you inspire, anyway thankyou Tracey I look forward to more great travel experiences with you and Evana she just makes me laugh! Takes in alot of detail in a matter of seconds that one!

Anyway back to our breakfast with Carol Wingert, whom is such a beautiful person. Tracey and I did her class on Tuesday and Wednesday we all had breakfast with her we're she dicussed how her path in life came to stop at scrapbooking, or as Carol likes to call us all "Memory Artists" (I really loved this quote). Her journey to get to where she is today was great to listen to. She tried so much before finally her friend, after many attempts and many gifts (being scrapbooking ones), finally was able to get Carol to sit down and create. Carols work is definately one to check out.

Will tell you more soon. I have lots of photos to sort out and also wait for some from Evana and Tracey before I put any up but I do ask that you visit Tracey's blog and check out her photo of the 3 of us and answer her question. Once you find out what really happened you'll be LOL!! Although we weren't at the time!!

We are going to Sydney! Today I took it upon myself to make sure everyone new that Evana, Tracey and myself are going to Sydney. How exciting, can't wait. About the only thing I can say I'm not looking forward to is the early morning flight. Yes that's right we would have to be the biggest idiots out as we booked our flight for 5.45am, so its rise and shine at 3.00am ready for pick up at 4am. God help us. Otherwise alls good and "We are going to Sydney"!

Anyway heres another one of the cards I made for SIA and Twiddleybitz.

Bullsbrook Maze

Christmas holidays 2006 took the girls to the bullsbrook Maze with Debbie and her two kids Grace and Charlie.

The mazes were fantastic and the kids had a great day.

Seeing and being able to pat the Koala up close really topped the day for them.

Red gum tree and leaves with gumnuts are another Twiddleybitz product both available at Tomorrows Memories.

My beautiful girls dressed in their school uniforms. How cute are they? We've struggled to find sizes for Zoe, she's just so tiny. We had to take off Olicia her school dress which is a size 4 so Zoe could have one. When we put it on her it was about5 inches from her ankles.

Anyway sorry haven't posted this week have had classes to do and get finished for today ready for the next schedule. Will definately post some layouts etc for next week.

Off to Paris'

My baby brother, Michael and his beautiful girlfriend, Sandrene.
(I apologise Sandrene if you read this as I just couldn't remember how to spell your name).

Anyway they left Thursday morning for France. Yep I said France, lucky ducks!!

Michael is off to meet the family. He was lucky enough to have met Sandrene's parents when he met her, while working as a tour guide.

My girls absolutely adore their Uncle Max (long story) and love Sandrene to pieces. Anyway Buon Voyage! or is that Italian. Oh well good luck and see you both in 3 months.

Olicia has 3 very close friends, Lauren, Courtney and Monique. When it comes to having things in common it would have to be these four. They do dance together, love similar things ie. HSM which girl doesn't! But the funniest thing Olicia and Monique did together was lose their two front teeth at the same time.

Which you can see in this photo, taken of the two of you at your Dance party for 07. You both just had your hair done Funky and asked me to take a photo, another thing you both like doing and thats posing for a photo.

Best Friends Forever!!

A beautiful photo of Olicia and Tanika my God Daughter. These two were inseperable for the two days they stayed with us. Bathed together, slept together, ate together you get the idea.

We had to promise to send Tanika this photo so I made sure it was sent before they left for Katherine so she would get a lovely surprise when she got home.

Again a quick and easy one, nothing fancy these days just really wanting to get layouts done. Actually finally a DT pack done. Yeh!!

My Leishy turns 8!!

Olicia turned 8 on Monday. Wow 8 years ago I was going thru some sort of pain only women know and now, today I have this beautiful girl, who people still ask me if she's mine! For all of you out there, yes she is, my husband has blonde hair and blue eyes.

The cake, well, not a great photo but my Auntie gave it to her as she has no use for a very large ginger bread house. So we decided to utilise it and shuff a candle in here and you have a bday cake! Olicia loved it. No one ate it though. Can't understand why?

So we had the big family celebrations on Monday. As we were lucky enough to have staying with us Olicia's best friend and our God daughter Tanika. My cousin Jodie and her family, Jason hubby, kids Tanika,Chloe and Kai are on holidays here for 2 weeks and decided to stay for a couple of days making sure they were with us on Olicias special day! The best present Olicia could have asked for. The kids had a great time catching up.

Then on Wednesday nite Olicia and her school friends celebrated her birthday at Sizzlers. Wow what a nite. She and her friends had the time of their lives.

Happy Birthday for another year my Princess. I really need you to stop growing up so fast!

Everyday Moments

Ever seen the Disney movie Fantasia. My eldest brother, David loved this one. Its when Mickey is the wizards apprentice and decides to put the wizards hat on and then it all just goes chaotic! Everything comes to life etc, something like that.

Well this photo is one of the scenes out of that movie. The girls take it off really well. Again a simple layout but I really need to get this album finished. Its a good one of the girls with Gregs parents.

Wow its been so long since I've done a layout. I have to admit though I didn't create this myself I scrap lifted it from Craft Queen whom Tomorrows Memories purchase their monthly Ribbon Club packs from. This layout is of my eldest, Olicia, in her Classical Ballet number "Music Box". She was the ballerina that pops out of your jewellery box and twirls around. I love watching her doing this number its definately one of her strongest classes.

Mushroom Cake hmmm....

So you can see its no mushroom cake. The problem started when the family finally left and I then looked at the clock, did dinner, sat down for 15 minutes and said to my hubby, "I'd better start that
cake".

I questioned whether I should do it being that it was 8 pm. Greg
said to just leave it and then after about 5 minutes of yes no's
I decided that I said I'd do it so I started. The thing is to make this particular cake I needed to prepare to cakes. One for the stalk and the other as the top.

Everything was running smoothly until I took out the top part and found it had a big hole in the middle, we're talking big hole!

So come morning when it was time to ice the cake 2 hours later my mum arrived and we looked at the clock and said lets go get an ice cream cake.

Anyway Zoe was happy so thats all that really mattered in the end. But the cake would have looked good.

My Baby Turns 5!!

Wow how time flies. My little Zoe B turned 5 on Thursday and it had to be the busiest day of the year for me. Not only was it her birthday, but it was also the last day of school.

So may day went as follows:

Wake up give presents to my beautiful girl for her to unwrap, feed them, get ready for school, have to stay at school for school final assembly, take off to get Zoe's promised hair cut with a fringe and then straight up to chemist for as promised her ears pierced too. Its now 11 am and I have to take her now to see my Nan at the Nursing Home as promised to show off the new hair cut and pierced ears. Stay for 20 minutes and then head back to meet my mum for lunch again as promised.

Its now 12.30pm and I'm suppose to be at the school again preparing the Xmas raffle that is to be drawn at the xmas concert which starts at 1.15pm. Great thats over its now 2.30pm schools out and I still have to do the shopping for Zoe's Party which is Friday and also now rush to Hairdresser for Olicias haircut too. Don't forget to pick up Birthday cake for the family arriving at 5pm to see Zoe! About that shopping?? Also have to make cake as promised (a mushroom cake) for Friday and the usual party food too. Parm off food shopping to mum now just have to get rid of the family so I can start cake. Lets not forget to have dinner too. Oh what about that Fairy Chair?? Help!!

My Beautiful Girls!!!

How cute are my girls! Zoe was a bride for her tap dance to the song Going to the Chapel. They all were just so gorgeous. Her other costume was a cute two piece skirt and halter neck in fluro pink. This was there jazz number to several Hi-5 songs. Again so cute! Will post photo later.

Then we have my gorgeous Olicia in her cat costume for their Acro, to the Cats musical number and also in her Classical Ballet costume, Music Box.

Will post her Tap & Jazz costumes later as I forgot to check the life of my battery on the night and yes thats right it died!! But will be getting the professional photos in the not so distant future. I hope!

They both danced so beautifully and had lots of fun doing it too. Bring on next year. Don't you just love Dance?

I found this layout I did of my Mum and my Nan on Mums Wedding Day. I love this photo. Its a very simple layout but thats all you need when using old photos. I didn't want to say heritage as Mum will kill me!!
I hope you like it. You can knock this one up in I'd say 15 minutes probably less but its better to over estimate. Give it a go, obviously only if you want to.

Hey everyone. Sorry its been so long. To be honest I just haven't had the urge to scrap. I did my class pieces in time but that just didn't make my mood to scrap shift. Im sure it will change though and I hope its sooner rather than later. So instead of posting a layout I thought I'd post some photos. I hope this will be enough for you to still visit until I get, as they would say, my
mojo back!

My friend Carol and I took our kids in the October School Holidays to Bells Rapids. It was a perfect day and as we expected the rapids were running as in April school hols it was too dry. Several families brought their kids for the same idea as we did. Great for exploring and just plain old fun. Some kids had boogie boards and were riding them down the rapids. Next time, as our kids aren't the best swimmers.

My poor blog! I'm so sorry everyone but at present I'm in the middle of organising my daughters School Fundraiser and have had no time to sit down for myself. I get home and think yep once the kids are asleep I'll go on in and knock out a page or something but come 8.30 pm I've been putting myself to bed not long after the kids, sad I know. I think this weather hot cold hot humid is messing with me also. Anyway enough about me, I've had a winge feel better now. Thanks guys! Fundraiser is Friday 31 October. Yes Halloween which is annoying as for the first time I was going to take my girls trick a treating. But instead we will be at their school.

Wow two weeks nearly over. I do love the school holidays but I honestly think life's more hectic in the holidays. Don't You? I've done so much with the kids these holidays that I forgot about everything else. I know thats bad but hey at least I can say I spent time with the kids. Which can be hard sometimes!!

The Card

Okay so its not a great shot but you get the gist. As I mentioned before I'm not a card maker so its very simple but I think it says enough!!

Please be honest as it is my first card made for show. Do you think its good enough for show???

Anyway it doesn't matter I tried thats the best I can do. I'm sure I'll improve over time, like my scrapbooking has so to will my card making.

All three items together I've just got the Advent Calendar to go.

Wish me luck cos I'm gonna need it!!

I do have a plan its just whether it all comes together is the worry!

Okay so we were given several of Twiddleybitz diecuts and a list of what they wanted us to do. So I did my off the page being my canvas and this is my layout, oh and they had to be Christmassie!

Don't you just love the BIG Christmas Tree.

I'm into using Tim Holtz paper distressing tool which you can get at TM. Loving tearing of any kind at the moment. You should all give it a go. If you don't have a distressing tool Tracey loves to use her finger nail which she tells me works great!

Again I've embossed the tree and also the main word.

I've also used Twiddleybitz Groovy Alphabet.

The papers are the new Pink Paislee which are available and selling fast at Tomorrows Memories.

Tracey & I were given our Twiddleybitz Design Team packs 2 weeks ago with a 2 week deadline. Which is why I haven't been blogging. My first pack, so I wanted to make sure its good.

The photo doesn't do this Christmas canvas justice but you get the idea.

I just hope its okay? I like it anyway and so did TM. Thanks guys for your support it means alot.

I made it a 3-D obviously embossed and used one of TM's new Christmas papers. The christmas tree is one of Twiddleybitz they asked the DT members to have a play with some of their new christmas diecuts, I love it and they come bigger too. Will show you 2moro when I post the layout I've done for them. I also used some of their corner flourishes which you can get at TM.

Neglected!!!

No Not my Beautiful Princess, i mean the blog! So since I havent had a chance to sit and do anything for a couple of weeks I thought a follow up to my gorgeous girl who is now 20 weeks old I think!!

She loves her ball and not like most dogs do playing ball, you know you throw, they run and get then bring back and we start again right! No, princess has taught us, yes I say taught because we knew the old way or normal way and her way well, you throw the ball and if your lucky she'll bring it back, otherwise you play her way. Which is throw, fetch and sit on it cos its mine, now lets play try to get it off me and then we throw, fetch you get the idea. I f your thinking we just haven't taught her right you'd be mistaken this is exactly how she likes it and every time we go outside she goes finds her ball and sits on it till you come try and take it! It would have to be the cutest game ever. The girls get a laugh, I just think its dame adorable and my husband thinks like probably all of you, ya just haven't trained her right, ah but I have.

This is our gorgeous puppy Princess. Still waiting for the little darling to show me that the name is appropriate!! This photo was taken a few days after we got her, so shes about 6 weeks old here. Today she is nearly 18 weeks old and eats everything in site and yes I know she's a puppy obviously our last two dogs were quite placid.

But shes sooooo... cute that you just can't get mad!! It'll all grow back I hope (the garden that is).

Will be hoping to post again sometime early this week.

Thought I'd post one of my older layouts I did this year. I really enjoyed doing this layout for my Nan who turns 91 next week. This is the boarding house where her parents lived at the time and gave birth to her, yep 91 years! Anyway I've decided to give this to my Nan for her birthday I hope she likes it. Enjoy!

Its been a hard week but I've managed to finally do a couple of layouts. This is one of my most favorite photos. Its the day after our Zoe B was born and our eldest, Olicia finally arrived to meet her new baby sister. I remember thinking at the time what a little grandma she was while holding Zoe and she still is!

I used the new Jenny Bowlin papers that I absolutely love. I've started to get back into tearing a bit lately don't know why but am liking it alot!! TM has Jenny Bowlins new line in store now!!

I finally decided to order the Cuttlebug Cut n Emboss flower die. Its a fantastic die as you can see. You can order all Cuttlebug product from Tomorrows Memories. I recommend this one for sure.

By using a little bit of magic mount the flower has brought great dimension to the page.

Yep its a double page spread. I'm not one who likes to do double page spreads exactly the same design. But I do like to use the same range of papers in some way.

My gorgeous Olicia absolutely besotted and enjoying every minute of this moment too. As you can see loving the camera which I've found with my friends and their children at that age what child doesn't.

Not so much at 7 going on 8 though going on 35!!

Its done. Can you believe just in time. I made this reverse canvas for one of our design team members at TM's, Beck. Now she won't forget us! After only being with us such a short time I couldn't believe it when Beck told us she was moving back to Melbourne. You don't expect to make good friends with someone so easily after such a short time working with them but really I should have known we'd hit it off as I did with Tracey too. At least I have you still Tracey!!

Anyway I just want to say thanks to Beck for such a great time in the scrapping world @ Tm's and Tracey, and the rest of us will definately see you in Melbourne, soon!!! Good Luck with the job and keep in touch.

Well I did promise so here's my latest layout using the new Basic Grey Line "Euphoria" now in at Tomorrows Memories. Aren't you just in love. The colours are perfect and for those of you whom know me well, I just can't go past adding a little bling bling, butterfly and things always look good with some dimension added too.

Gotta love close-ups! Hope it helps to see that gorgeous bling bling! Take a closer look at the butterfly. For those of you who want to learn a new technique go out and purchase yourself some perfect pearls and a clear thick embossing powder and try it out its a fantastic effect! I've embossed my butterfly and my heading. I'm loving this technique, thanks Beck for introducing it to me, you know I love your work!
